Welcome to Beauregard and a beautiful part of New Zealand.

Your host, the property owner, Laurette Macky (nee Pacheteau) was born and raised in France. She worked in the hospitality industry for several years in London where she met her Kiwi husband.

With over 16 years in Intellectual Property in France and New Zealand, Laurette decided to also combine and return to hospitality when she and her family moved north to Matakana. After carefully relocating three cottages onto their ‘slice of paradise’, they have lovingly undertaken a refurbishment and decoration process.

Beauregard has a sentimental connotation for Laurette, since it was the name of the village where her late dad grew up in the Vendee, Loire Valley region in the west of France.

Beauregard is French for ‘beautiful gaze’.
